Fantasy violence : ウィキペディア英語版 | Fantasy violence
Fantasy violence is the display, mention or physical description of violent scenes and/or actions mainly in a fantasy setting(s) or environment.〔Fantasy by Jacqueline Furby, Claire Hines〕 It can also be a result of fantasy elements such as magic, witchcraft, magic swords, magical creatures such as mythical dragons and/or fantastical characters acting out in violence. As such, violence in the realm of fantasy is commonly showed in forms that is not comprehensible with modern science and technology and so does not parallel the cause and effect of genuine violence in the media.〔On Media Violence by W. James Potter〕 Fantasy violence is common to dark fantasy, though the latter typically borderlines violence and does not necessarily incorporate it, and more so to horror such as vampire literature and vampire films. ==In literature==
Violence occurs commonly throughout fantasy literature, such as Conan the Barbarian or the ''Shadow series'' by Jon Sprunk.〔https://www.blackgate.com/2013/09/25/war-what-is-it-good-for-violence-in-fantasy-literature/〕
